description: Contained an improved version of the 2004 US election map for tracking results, plus several other widgets to keep track of poll results, and a interactive timeline of past election victories. The content won an award at the 2005 Flashforward conference in New York for Best Application, and the results map remains the most viewed flash application in a single day on the BBC News Website.

description: This was an interactive map developed to compliment the BBC’s coverage of the 2004 US presidential elections. The results for each state updated in real time on the night of the election, and the past elections tab let you browse through the last 14 election results using the same zoomable map interface. The application was a runner-up in the Technical Merit category at the 2005 Flashforward conference in San Franciso, and broke all previous records for most viewed page on the BBC News Website in a single day.
